Crowded Streets

     Kadaugan sa Mactan represent the victory of Mactan because of the historic Battle of Mactan and it is known in world history that Ferdinand Magellan was killed by so called Chieftain Lapu-lapu in Spanish time. This festival is featuring the highlights by the series of musical productions culminating with the famous battle, food street and live band entertainment. This celebration falls on every 22nd – 27th of April in Lapu–Lapu City. 

     For this year, Kadaugan sa Mactan is celebrated on the evening of April 27and 28 which is known to be the Kadaugan Street Party. This 2 day event includes Fun Run, Car Shows, Live Bands, Discos and a lot more. However, the main attraction of this 2-day event is the Rampada Streeet Dancing wherein participants from different places of Lapu-Lapu and even the Hotels join together in one rhythm. Here are few photos taken during the Rampada. Took only few snap shots because we arrived late during the event. :/

Having someone who takes care of you on your weakest days is for keeps.

  
    He didn't mind how messed up my look is, how bad my smell may be and how tiring it was taking care of me, instead, he stayed with me  24 hours never leaving my side. I was admitted due to my asthma and I must say, God has given a second life. I can still remember what the doctor uttered the moment I was rushed at the hospital. He stated to my parents, "May gani dinhi ninyo siya gidali og dala kay kung sa MDH pa to, basin di ni siya kaabot." Indeed, it was a life threatening event and thank God, I survived. I didn't let my parents to immediately tell him about what happened to me because I don't want him to worry too much. It may affect his Physics Dept'l Exam that day. The moment my parents informed him about what happened to me, he then rushed to the hospital by the time he finished the exam. He stayed there overnight with me and my family. We were 5 in a room with 2 beds. Imagine how hard it is to sleep yet he never mind. He went home in the afternoon the next day because he still has to go back to their university for another exam and visited me again until I left the hospital.

     He took care of me. He stayed beside me. He was there when I needed him most. He just didn't mind my looks nor how I smell but slept beside me, hugged me and let me fall asleep in his arms. It was one of my favorite memories, my favorite night. It was the very first time we slept together and woke up next to him. It may be my toughest days however it was also one of my blissful days having him taking care of me and never leaving my side in my weakest days. ☺

     Every girl deserves a man who will let her feel what love really is in any way. She deserves a man who will  treat her like a princess. A man who will remain faithful to her and will stay no matter how hard the situation they may be in. She deserves a man who will it make it up everytime they have petty fights and arguments. She deserves a man to be the reason for his happiness and not his tears. Most of all, she deserves a man that will treat her right, won't give up on her and love her with all his heart. :)

     

Day 113/366: Some people are just plain annoying.

   I just hate how people tend to invade into my private life, our private life. Talking shits and acting like as if they do know us better than anyone else when in fact, what they believed they know are just hearsay or worse based from their mere observations. I don't usually give a fuck with stuffs like that, however, there are those times when I can't take things anymore and I just wanna blow up especially when it'd become a reason for an argument between us. Call me whatever names you like, I don't care, just stop getting in between us. I respect that you guys are special to him and I can't let him stay away from you but please know your place and just mind your own fucking business.

Day 112/366: Doodles

   Doodling is something we are fond of doing. Well yeah, we both know we aren't really good with regards to that thing however we do out of fun, not to impress anyone. Doodling is something very special to us maybe because it is the very exact reason how I met and got to know him. Here's a little flashback...

   It was during our sophomore years when I first met him. We were classmate by then and became groupmates later on. We are tasked to draw something that symbolizes.. uhhh ifgt.. anyway, then we came up to the idea of drawing a sprouting seed and since I was assigned as a leader I have no choice but to do the drawing. In the midst of my sketching, I was disturbed by the two boys laughs then he suddenly commented, "Mura'g itlog" and laughs again. I was greatly humiliated upon hearing those words when in fact it was nothing like an egg. :/

From that day on, our story began...

  So that was it. Everytime we doodle something we can't help but remember those days, those crazily annoying but grateful days we had. It has become a part of system. We may not have that talent but atleast we've got the passion in doing it because it was the reason we found each other, the reason I found him. :)

Day 111/366: Camwhore-ing

   Took this photograph earlier today before taking a bathe. I'm supposed to be with my brother watching his game but laziness stopped me and decided to stay home instead. Srsly, I'm being sloth today, okay? Oh, I mean not just today but most of the time. Uhh laziness, what power do you have that makes me suffer and like it? Anyway, keep smiling everyone. Remember, there isn't one person that looks bad in a smile. :)

Unspoken Reality

  I don't wanna hurt you anymore like I did in the past. I wanna be your bestfriend, your only girl and most importantly your kind of love that really lasts. I can't promise you the moon and the stars but Ill gladly waste my friday nights with you watching chick flicks, romantic movies and even the horror ones. Cook you your favorite foods and make you laugh with all the stupid things I say. I'll play facebook games with you and beat in the game of pick-a-boo. I'll kiss you goodmorning and cuddle with you all night on a cold evening. I'll tell you my secrets and I'll keep yours safe. I'll wake up early just to watch and support you do the thing you are most passionate of and that's running. I wouldn't mind not getting enough sleep because those late night conversations kept me up all night. I'd be more willing to tell you everyday how much I love you and how blessed I am to have you. I'll gladly spend my weekends with you having long walks along the beach and do stargazing at night while lying in the sand. Most importantly, I'd love to spend my lifetime with you and love each and every day of our lives unconditionally. ∞

We had an awesome day at Tambuli Beach Resort yesterday together with my cousins and aunts (more on my father's side). It's Tambuli's last week, they are closing for a mean time for renovations and other stuffs for the resort and due to that their employees are allowed to bring in their family to enjoy the last few days of the resort. And since, my aunt happened to work in there, she invited us to spend a day at the resort. Without second thoughts, we agreed to come along with two of my aunts on my mother's side and my boyf. :)

   Sometimes when you love someone very much, you’d have to go through every tear, every heartache, every pain. Cause in the end, it’s not how much you suffered but how you loved. ♥

Happy Four ღ

  Almost a monthas passed since we celebrated our fourth year anniversary which indicates that is a very late blog post. Nonetheless, this are some of the photos captured the our late anniversary celebration as well. :) We celebrated it this day. We went to a private resort slash a village and decided to plunge into the pool under the heat of the sun. Summer's kicking off and memories are just waiting to happen. :)
